A three-story slope-side retreat for families and friends. Sleeps 14, with a private sauna, heated pool and hot tubs.
Welcome to The Peak
The Peak is a 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom mountain condo at the base of Steamboat Resort, designed for families, groups and multi-generational trips. Vaulted ceilings, a gas fireplace and a farmhouse table make it easy to come together after a day on the mountain.
Walk about 350 steps to the gondola, ride the free shuttle into town, and come home to your own private sauna, plus a heated pool and hot tubs on-site, open all year.

Location
Cross the street and take a short path to the base of Steamboat Resort: about 350 steps to the gondola, lifts and ski school. That's an easy distance for kids to carry their own gear. Guests tell us they ski the path right back to the road at the end of the day. Restaurants, a grocery market, pizza, a liquor store and Christy Sports are a couple of minutes away on foot.

Getting around
Leave the car parked. The complex runs a free shuttle into downtown Steamboat and back year-round, and the free city bus stops about a 2-minute walk away. Downtown is a 9-minute drive if you'd rather take your own car.

Room for everyone
Three floors give everyone a little space of their own. Kids love the third-floor bunk suite, with six twin beds, a curtained double and its own bathroom. The first-floor suite has a private entry, kitchenette and balcony, ideal for grandparents or a second family.

Wellness
Warm up after the last run in the private sauna built into the third-floor suite. Then head down to the complex's community sauna, gym and lounge spaces whenever you like.

Après-ski
Soak under the stars in one of two hot tubs, or swim in the outdoor heated pool, open in every season. Three community grills make summer dinners easy.

Gather
The fully stocked main kitchen opens onto a farmhouse dining table big enough for 11, with banquet seating and a breakfast bar. A first-floor kitchenette handles morning coffee and late-night cocoa, and a stack of board games is ready for family game night.

Unwind
Vaulted ceilings, natural light, an oversized sectional and a gas fireplace make the second-floor great room the place everyone ends up. A wall-mounted TV handles movie night, and two balconies take in the mountain air.

Resort amenities
Shoot pool in the billiards room, get a workout in at the gym, and keep skis and boards warm and dry in your secure heated garage space. In-unit washer and dryer, fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace round it out.

Every bedroom has a smart TV, comfortable mattresses and plenty of storage, with plush towels and toiletries in all four full bathrooms.

Megan is an amazing host! She was very communicative and transparent throughout the whole stay. The Pheonix is an amazing location in Steamboat. It was just a short walk (3 minutes) to the gondola. The house has a cool layout. Each floor has its own character and charm. The home easily accommodates larger groups. I recently stayed with my family of four and two friends. We could have easily included another 6 people. The first and second floors each have a kitchen, the top floor has a sauna. The home is located 2 minutes away (walking) to several stores (grocer, pizza, alcohol, Christy's sports). Megan is very thoughtful and has loads of games stocked in the home for family fun game nights. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials for cooking. If you have a large group and want to be close to the mountain look no further! BOOK this home!! Thank you Megan for going above and beyond to ensure my family and friends had a great ski vacation.
We had a fantastic stay at this Steamboat home. The location was unbeatable—just a very short walk to the ski slopes, which made our trip incredibly easy and enjoyable. The home itself was spotless, comfortable, and well cared for, with everything we needed for a great stay. Megan was an excellent host with clear, prompt, and friendly communication throughout. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Steamboat.
We absolutely loved our stay at Megan’s place, the location is really hard to beat. Very short walk to the base of the mountain. Lots of beds to fit all of us, a well stocked kitchen and shared access to hot tub and pool. Really the ultimate place to stay any time of season in steamboat. Megan was a great host, very helpful and responsive. We hope to be back to stay again thank you so much!
Megan is a great host! Responsive and communicative through our entire stay. The condo is in the perfect location to walk to the base of the mountain and restaurants. There is so much space for our family trip. The large kitchen table fit all 11 of us comfortably to dine and play games together.
Great location for skiing. It is just crossing the street to get on a very short path to the base of Steamboat. In fact, we kept our skis on to ski the short path back to the road. Sleeping space is plentiful.
Great location, cozy space, well furnished and equipped for dinners at home.
Its layout was excellent for 5 adults and 4 children and could have held more. The sauna in the unit, and the access to the pool and hot tub are great perks. The location is great! Its access to the ski base was excellent: 5 minute walk for me (70 yo) and my three grandkids 5-10 yo. The unit is a 2 minute walk to the free Steamboat bus line. Lastly, Megan was as communicative as could be. We had no issues but felt that she was accessible at any time.
What a great location! Quick and easy walk to the Steamboat gondola! The home was cozy and very comfortable for our large group, with plenty of space to relax. The host was excellent and easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful time!
This property was the perfect stay for our group. Walkable to the ski slopes and restaurants around. Additionally, the complex has a free shuttle that takes you into town and back home after. Megan was an ideal host, responding to us quickly and kindly. I highly recommend this Airbnb.
This location was great for mountain activities with a big group. Walkable to the mountain, lots of beds, close to the downtown area which can be accessed via the Vacasa shuttle.
Our stay at Megan's Steamboat condo was perfect! Excellent location, easy check-in, clean, spacious, and communication was quick and easy. We highly recommend this condo!
It was a two night stay for our staff as we had events in Steamboat and could not of been a better place to rest our heads. Would 100% stay again.
Megan was fantastic to work with and i had a ton of questions. :). She was very friendly and extremely helpful!
Megan was a wonderful host. My group had a great time here and were able to communicate with Megan easily.
It was a great location! Very clean!
Everything went great and the group had a blast, can’t wait to come back soon!
Your hosts
Skiing and snowboarding are our favorite things to do together, and our best days are the ones spent on the mountain with family. Steamboat is where it all comes together: walking into town after a day on the slopes feels like strolling through a winter wonderland.
We set up The Peak so your crew can have days like that too: steps from the gondola, with plenty of room to gather when the lifts close. We're always a quick message away.
